Milwaukee is known as the city where Laverne and Shirley worked for the fictitious Shotz brewery. While you won't find Shotz, you will find many of the breweries that made this city famous. The Miller Brewing Company offers a fascinating tour detailing how beer is made, as well as free samples along the way. The Milwaukee Art Museum is one of several notable area museums, but this one gets the nod if you have time for just one.
